Guiding - Blackfeather - Pond Inlet

I just returned from guiding a two week sea kayak trip in the Pond Inlet area.  My co-guide Alex and I had a wonderful group that was well prepared to deal with Arctic travel conditions and this made the trip a most memorable one.  Temperatures ranged from below zero Celsius to about ten degrees Celsius at it's warmest.  Narwhal were seen in the hundreds, Orcas, Red Throated Loons, Snow Geese, Fulmars, Ivory Gulls, Ringed and Bearded Seals, etc, etc....

Many thanks go out to those who's support make this trip happen year after year. Dave Reid, Sheatie Tagak, Billy Merkosak, as well as Scott and Brendan from the Sauniq hotel.  The outfit that I work for while guiding these trips is called Blackfeather.  Blackfeather is a great organization that has been perfecting the art of guiding extended Northern wilderness trips in Canada and elsewhere for over 40 years.  Check 'em out.
